Great Lakes Cruising Club Meeting
On April 25th, Marcy and I joined other GLCC members at Grosse Pointe Yacht Club for the 2008 GLCC Regional Dinner Meeting. The highlight of the evening for me was the being recognized as both a Bayfield Award recipient and also receiving the 2007 Founder’s Award for the 2005 Lake Superior Log.

The Bayfield Award was recognition of my achievement of circumnavigating each of the five Great Lakes. This was a longtime goal of mine that was reached as a result of my cruise last year through Lake Michigan (see 2007 Lake Michigan Log).
