August 1 Houghton County Marina
I cannot believe it is already August. It is just as well we are planned to be here today as it rained over night and several times today already. More importantly the wind is blowing 20-25 knots in the marina and I am sure the predicted 25-30 knots for the lake is a reality. Weather permitting we will do some more cleanup chores and then go out to dinner tonight to The Library. Will and the boys will be leaving early tomorrow morning for their long drive back to St. Louis and John Robertson is due to arrive between 2 -4 pm tomorrow afternoon. The weather is expected to moderate tomorrow and even more so Monday so I am hopeful we can leave for the Apostle Islands.

Hi Kip,
Love reading all your adventures! My mailbox filled and your e-mails stopped on August 1. I have cleared my messages and would enjoy receiving your news again. Spoke to Marcy yesterday and she filled us in on her excitement with the trip out west and the storm in Shaker recently. We’ve been enjoying family activities and packing for the trip to the Trent-Severn tomorrow. Continued good wishes for weather and health.
